Today, special attention is paid to the popularization of national games among young people and their active involvement, as well as traditions and values inherited from our ancestors. In particular, the National Guard units in the regions are carrying out a number of activities to develop and popularize horse riding and its types. Classes and various competitions are organized in the sections. The other day, regular master classes among secondary school students were held at the children's and youth sports school of the Termez district of Surkhandarya region. At the event organized by the Directorate of Protection of the National Guard of Surkhandarya region together with the Karabayir Equestrian School, boys and girls mastered the skills of marksmanship and horseback riding. The youth were taught the basics of archery, informed about safety rules, riding and saddling procedure. Then the participants tested themselves in practice.During the event, young people who took an active part were awarded certificates of honor from the organizers.

Within the framework of the" military-patriotic month", ethnosport events were organized

On January 7, within the framework of the "military-patriotic month" in the territory of the National School of horses of Karabayir under the National Guard in Termez district, regional first-place competitions were organized among young people on shooting from a bow, fighting on horseback, fighting on a team of Capricorn, five fights, rope shooting and table tennis. More than 500 young people took part in the event, which was held with the aim of organizing interesting winter holidays of the youth, involving them in our national sports games, forming patriotic feelings. Demonstrating mature willpower, dexterity, horseback riding and sniper skills in intense competitions, the winning athletes were awarded the National Guard's Cup, medals and valuable prizes.

In the framework of the month of "Patriotism" in Boysun district of Surkhandarya region was organized another competition of goats. It was attended by about 100 local riders on korabayir horses. The winners of the competition were awarded valuable prizes and cash prizes from partner organizations.

Skilled riders competed in equestrian games

The regional qualifying round of the national equestrian games was held on the territory of the Karabakh Equestrian School under the National Guard in Termez district. More than 200 riders, winners and prize-winners of the competitions held in the districts of the oasis, took part in the men's game organized under the motto "Karabayir horses of Surkhandarya region". Riders competed in "horse racing", "team kupkari" and "crowd goat-kupkari". In the horse race, Abdurashid Vorisov, a serviceman of the National Guard, took first place with his Karabakh horse, nicknamed "Bars". Samandar Norboev of the Karabayir Horses School under the National Guard took second place in the race with his horse, Boroncha. The National Guard riders also won the team kupkari competition, beating all local teams. The left-handed riders, who had a goat in the crowd, were rewarded by the organizers with various prizes and cash prizes. The event also included national games such as tug-of-war, archery and stone-lifting with the participation of young people from the oasis. Demonstrating dexterity and perseverance in the regional qualifying round, the strongest riders won the right to participate in the republican championship, which will be held on December 17 in Samarkand region.

In cooperation with the Department of Tourism and Sports of Surkhandarya region, regional and district khokimiyats, "School of Skills of Karabayir horses" under the National Guard, a competition of goats was held among riders of Sariosiya, Denau, Altynsay and Uzun districts.

The event was attended by about 150 riders and more than 1,000 equestrian fans. Begin Chobogon from Denau, a camel named "Tumor" from Sariosiya district, won the main prize in the Ulak-Kupkari competition. Nasir, a rider from Sariosiyo, also received a horse and a TV set from the Sariosiya district governor. Halim Chabogan from Sariosiya owned 1 million soums donated by the Hokim of Altynsay district.
