The regional qualifying round of the national equestrian games was held on the territory of the Karabakh Equestrian School under the National Guard in Termez district. More than 200 riders, winners and prize-winners of the competitions held in the districts of the oasis, took part in the men's game organized under the motto "Karabayir horses of Surkhandarya region". Riders competed in "horse racing", "team kupkari" and "crowd goat-kupkari". In the horse race, Abdurashid Vorisov, a serviceman of the National Guard, took first place with his Karabakh horse, nicknamed "Bars". Samandar Norboev of the Karabayir Horses School under the National Guard took second place in the race with his horse, Boroncha. The National Guard riders also won the team kupkari competition, beating all local teams. The left-handed riders, who had a goat in the crowd, were rewarded by the organizers with various prizes and cash prizes.
The event also included national games such as tug-of-war, archery and stone-lifting with the participation of young people from the oasis. Demonstrating dexterity and perseverance in the regional qualifying round, the strongest riders won the right to participate in the republican championship, which will be held on December 17 in Samarkand region.
